Hosting a website...

I'm hosting a website. I would like some feedback, especially things such as load speeds, availability and download speeds, as well as any bugs.

The link is here. There are no apparent forums so approval is not required (checked with Paddle2See).

jji7skyline.dyndns.org/index.html

You'll notice that I'm using port 8888. Tell me if that causes any problems.  smile

EDIT: Using default apache port 80... see if it works now.

True, but SOPA didn't pass.

Apache. Yes. With MAMP.

Err... it's illegal without SOPA. And promotion of/linking to illegal things isn't allowed on Scratch

And I'm not going to download illegal things

It doesn't matter, piracy is still illegal. SOPA was just a pointless waste of time IMO. As demonstrated by the takedown of MegaUpload, they DO NOT need any more power to take down web sites. The thing I want to know is... WHY take down megaupload instead of a website that calls themselves The Pirate Bay? Take out the (self-claimed) pirates, not the innocent file uploaders.

Re: Hosting a website...

The speed is fairly good. I can't test the zip file transfer rate, because my internet is extremely slow, and has a bandwidth cap (so downloading 4.3GB is a bad idea).

TPB is outside the country. Megaupload was inside the US. SOPA would allow them to block access to TPB's domain, although they'd do it with the IP still.
