Shouldn't the description for this section be more positive or informative?

Positive, yes. Informative, no. Look at the other ones for example.

And since I'm still ranting about IP banning myself, it wouldn't be nearly as bad if, when the check ended (WHEN???), there was another mod or admin to unban me. ^^

It's probably an average. Most sites only have a few files, can get checked in that amount of time. If you have something like FluxBB (or MediaWiki hehehe) then it takes a lot longer because it has so many files, and long files at that.

Sorry, just it seems everyone pick C++ right off the bat without even checking out other languages.

Java  cheesy excuse for a name, it's the name of an island for crying out loud
C/C++  come on real original name here eh? Apparently i'm not programming if don't use one of these
Pascal  Come on what a weird language, I mean why use "Begin" instead of "{"
Python  I see this dude was into snakes
scratch  probably invented by a crazy cat lady

more to be added ;]

Fair enough, but you could say something like 'C, C++, and C# are common languages for software development.'

Also, maybe the Python section should have a more descriptive description (fail), like 'Python is a simple and powerful programming language' or 'Python is an easily readable language'?

Oh um, also, Java is now owned by Oracle.

Re: Coders' Shed

Maybe should there be an 'Inspiration and Ideas' section, for people like me who are good with languages, but never have any ideas to make?

Edit: Hey, I think that this might be the first time I've seen another Scratcher online- and on the same topic!  Hi, slinger.

Re: Coders' Shed

That's a good idea. But the forum is only here right now because the site is in like Beta or Alpha can't decide  tongue  Later we'll code our own question asking thing (unless it's too hard XD)

Okay, thanks.  Anyway, Beta is usually a testing phase, while Alpha is just a prototype, and usually not public like it is now (but it's nice when it is  smile  ).

Anyway, I noticed that Newest Projects section, but, understandably, you haven't gotten to making it, so it's a 404, but could it lead to viruses and possibly malware-spammage?  I'd suggest that maybe (if possible) source code could be uploaded, and then automatically put into an online compiler, hence making malware obvious.  If source code were merely asked to be given alongside the executable file, then the malicious part could be omitted (from the source code, not the executable).

Re: Coders' Shed

Well the idea to the newest projects is that you have a host for your file already and you can advertise for free. Say you where the first one to advertise 50 adverts later your off the list. But I do see your point and am now wondering whether or not I should have that in the site...Yeah I haven't gotten to making it yet. Thanks for the concern  smile
