So you can save your progress, it would really be a help.

No; it depends how the project is programmed. If it is designed to let you import/export your data, so, great. Try looking at Saving Data.

Just don't reset your variables/lists when the green flag is clicked, but make sure that they are when you upload.
That way, all the player's information is still stored, ready to be accessed.
