DSi commenting

I've lately tried to go on scratch using my DSi XL internet. Whenever I've posted a comment using it, it would just say, "true". I've also seen it happen with supercoolguy and werdna123. Why does that happen and can you please fix it?

Re: DSi commenting

This has been happening since the DSi browser came out. There could be a bug in either the DSi browser or the scratch comments system.

Re: DSi commenting

What ihaveamac said. No one really knows what causes it so it can't be fixed, but it probably has something to do with a difference in how the DSi browser interprets code.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Hmmm... I haven't looked into this thoroughly, but it seems likely that the DSi browser isn't following standard web protocols (or perhaps isn't allowing Javascript?) So it would be good to file a bug against the DSi browser, and direct them to the Scratch website in case they want to test fixes. Thanks!

Re: DSi commenting

lucari0, thanx, and i know this mucho grande problemo's cause. i believe that the DSi browser has bugs with javascript and all that junk.
SOLUTION:
Go blow up a balloon.
lol j/k
e-z! just file a bug report, and Mit or Nintendo will fix it! for now, use a Mac or PC with Windows or Linux. (I highly suggest Linux. I have Ubuntu 10.10, and I use it for most of my projects.) P.S. This was all done @ 11:45 on a DSi. lol my hand's tired. GOODNIGHT SCRATCH!

The DSi Browser follows web standards and has Javascript enabled by default.
Also, I will file the bug.
Wait a minute, they don't have support for the DSi, only DS and 3DS.

Thats Simple

The DSI Is not made for scratch, nor it's website. so maybe when your commenting/replying to a scratcher all that Java,Flash,Player And all of that stuff is getting mixed up (whether your trying to view the project or not) and i can not post the comment....because Of all that programing getting messed up.

this is an example; pretend this is the DSI ProgramScript.

when JAVAPROGRAM clicked
program JAVA---=.EXE REPO00988U888

when WWW.SCRATCH.MIT.EDU clicked
program SCRATCH---=.EXE REPO00988U888

when Reply Button clicked
program Awesome that project is great!---=.EXE REPO00988U888
Its Doing This All At The same time, and my result in this
when PROGRAM2333 clicked
program JAVA---=.EXE REPO009Scratcho09i88COMMENT=COMMENT=RE098PLYU888=TRUE
That's just what i think...
