Blender Official Topic

Here is the place to discuss your creations in Blender, including images, animations, and games. You can also ask for the help with the Python BGE API. My current projects are a free, minecraft-like game, and a sci-fi movie.

Re: Blender Official Topic

I really like Blender.  Can someone help me figure out how to make move the user's viewpoint in a Blender game?  I can't figure it out because games just show things from the current position, not the camera.

Blender is one of the best opensource programs out there.
I use it, and would recommend it over any of the other commercial programs.

I would too. I tried one in a class I took, and it was not nearly as good as Blender. Blender just takes some getting used too.

Re: Blender Official Topic

You need vertices to sculpt.
Select your object
Get into Object mode and press F9.
Find the Multires tab and Add Multires>Add Level.
Go into Sculpt mode.
Press N and the sculpt brushes will pop up.

Try Google Sketchup, it's one of the easiest and fastest tools for beginners.
