Cool.
There's already a sticky similar to this though...

Goodbye, Scratch. I am leaving because of the exams coming up at our school, though I'll check the forums once or twice a week.

Thank you, and to make more views for the people who advertise here, there will be a max 5 links per bulletin. So, when new ones come in, the old ones go out. also, if a contest is over, etc., I will pull it off the bulletin.

Re: ###Scratch Bulletin###

Mine isn't as neat as this, mainly because I didn't have quotes or any limits on number of posts. So, for the limited number of projects on here it is brilliant, but because it isn't high capacity then:
A. Lots will be turned down if this gets famous
-or-
B. this won't get famous if everyone overlooks this because it's pretty bare.

I also advertise contests and stuff, and project of the week (now run by Joletole) perhaps we should work together to make a great thread rather than two: a HUGE one and a... not so 10,000 viewed one. I'm trying to look for ways to get the projects standing out more, but I'm not sure! And without limits! On game websites like addicting-games and mini-clip, they usually have texts for their projects, even without descriptions and still get viewed, but that doesn't seem to work on here! It should work, but scratchers seem too lazy to read through it all.

if he wants? well, he can't really "help" because only i can access it, and you already do project of the week, so i dunno really tbh! for now, i need advice instead of help

my idea was to eventually branch off into subtopics once lots of projects were on here. so, i would have 3 links: a projects subtopic that would branch into games, animations, and etc. the 2nd would be galleries: about games, animations, etc. then the last subtopic would be other: project previews, contests, etc. so, around what you just said, i was thinking, would you mind partnering with me? i could have a link going to your advertisement service, and yours going to mine. this could allow people to choose the advertisement method they prefer, and still get more views.

oh, and about how you said that it would be harder for projects to get in? well, the same # of projects would be filtered out, but they would be up for less time, to make room for new projects. what makes this more efficient is that more people will view each project, AND it'll keep people coming to the topic, because the bulletin will always be changing.

and, just wanted to thank you for complimenting this topic.

Very good idea. Except what would be cooler is if you worked for borrego6165 and this was a branch of the Advert Thread. Just an idea for both of you.

Re: ###Scratch Bulletin###

Just remember that mine on average gets 2518.5 views per month, that's 10000 odd since November! So competition might be a little tough. I do like your idea on the branches, and I'll also implement a code-search to making finding projects far quicker. If you did decide to work for me your name would go in the credits at the top, and it will be a link to your user page so scratchers will see your projects! I'll do the same for Joletole as well seen as he does the Project of the Week. You could help advertise the advert thread, which I renamed to The Games Archive so that instead of it being a fresh batch each week, it would be a collective source of games.

remember what i said? ill post a link to yours at the top if you post a link to mine. I don't technically want to work for you, but we could each complement each others' topics. I can even give you some suggestions for YOUR topic, as i have a lot of ideas to make it easier to find a certain topic or specific project even.

one last thing, we aren't exactly competing, right? i mean, we're both trying to make good projects or galleries seen, right? so, don't think of this as competition...
