Hi everyone,
I am having problems opening up a downloaded seedling in Scratch. I will download the scripts and sprites to my desktop, and then attempt to open it in Scratch. That's when I get the message "Could not read: bad header". I've tried opening up various downloads but have had no luck. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure. :S Try using open from the Scratch file menu for projects, and the choose sprite from file option for sprites.

Tried that...still no luck. I'm wondering if it's downloading all of the files. We have a VERY secure network here, and I'm wondering if this could be causing the problem.

That could be it. What file types are you trying to open (let me just be sure). What version of Scratch do you have? What operating system?

Yup...it's an .sb file. We're running Scratch 1.2.1. Hopefully we'll be able to get up to 1.3, but again...the security may be causing problems.

1.2.1 is old... Try upgrading to 1.4. Click "Download" from the bottom of this page.

Yeah, most projects on the site use 1.4, the most recent version. 1.2(.1) can't run them.

I had that problem before, you need 1.4 to open projects.
