I'm pretty sure this fits here...

Since I need it for a signature I'm making.

Does anyone know any simple photo editing software which supports transparency? All I got from searching was GIMP and stuff, and although I'm determined to learn GIMP eventually, I sorta need one now  tongue

Scratch Art Editor supports transparency.

Though I get the feeling your looking for something else.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Doing simple stuff in GIMP isn't too hard.

Yeah, but like I said, it'll probably take me ages to learn how to do even the simplest of things in it  tongue  I will learn it eventually though. If I can stop procrastinating, that is ._.

It won't. To make a logo, just go to File>Create>Logos and choose a style. You may have to try out a few. To turn a color to transparency in that layer, go to Layers>Transparency>Color to alpha.

Thanks. I'll stick with paint.NET for now (I'm getting the hang of it), but I'll definitely start learning GIMP soon  tongue

paint.net is beast! It's definitely a lot better than paint (then again anything is) and has a lot more features!

As to whether this topic belongs here or not...it's an okay fit, given that you are taking some time to learn an image editor.

We look for things which involves a significant creative effort on your part for this forum - depending on how much effort you put into it, a signature image might fall into that category.
