You can make non-remixable projects (but please don't try it)

Yep! It's possible. Well, close enough anyway. What you do is make an invisible sprite, then add the code in it to make sprite close (if offline) under the green flag clicked blocked. Now when downloaded and run (nobody remixes without running at least once...), Scratch closes or freezes.  smile

(Don't try this out, please)

What code does that?  I think you can only use method selectors that exist in a normal Scratch, so what normal method would do that?

set [water ripple v] effect to (1)

The glass is never half full nor half empty; it is twice as large as it needs to be.

Or

set [var v] to (2)
repeat (var)
set [var v] to ((var) * (var))
repeat (var)
set [var v] to ((var) * (var))
repeat (var)
set [var v] to ((var) * (var))
end
end
end

Can this be circumvented, perhaps by using "Import Project"?

It's quite hard to not click the green flag at least once when remixing.

It's not if you're making a trash remix. ^^
