pokemon fanfic
I am making my own pokemon region called Renju. I need some help though, There is a place in the region that the main character visits called the Ancient Ruins that are remnants of an ancient Egyptian/Mesopotamian civilization now populated by only scholars and archaeologists. I figured i have my protagonist go into the pyramid and find a legendary there. What legendary should i use? Advice plz.

Make your own!
It should be a cat, as they were revered by them as akin to gods. Maybe a giant cat with a mask of a jackal representing Anubis?

ill use it but the story is about team rocket returning to a new region called Renju. Giovanni no longer leads them, it is now Meowth (yes the same Meowth working with Jesse and James) and Meowth wants to become a deity, so what would be something interesting about Anubicat that would want to make Team Rocket capture it.

waht shoiuld the protagonist's starter be? Im trying to choose a non starter and to stay away from the standard fire grass and water starters.
Im thinking of using a riolu, a growlithe, or a croagunk or make my own
