Forum Box!

you know how you get messages when someone comments on a project or gallery? Well why not a forum post! I want to know when someone gets back to me! Thanks!

I don't think that's a very good idea. Say you posted on that one thread with forty-two pages, you'd get a message for each of those posts! I thikn it would be a disaster.

But maybe you can filter it to only one reminder telling you to check out your post.

Re: Forum Box!

I'm a bit surprised as to why SCRATCH has an e-mail digest as a forum tool, but not tool for subscribing individual threads! Other forums have this function, and I use it to keep track of threads that I visit whenever I log back in. Unless there is saving difficulties, maybe the SCRATCH forum can be implemented with this feature? That would allow us to keep track of our posts (and even threads that we would like to follow but not have posted in).  big_smile

It used to have a forum subscribe thing and you coulld see your subscribed to threads without using e-mail. It was about a year ago(I saw a friend using the fourms, that's how i know)

Hmm, that's interesting, but I can't understand why it would be removed from the SCRATCH website; could it be due to incompatibility with website upgrades or something of the sort?

I think there were problems with it that they couldn't fix so they removed it.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Oh, that's too bad, it would have been nice it if worked.  sad

Maybe SCRATCH can set up a system where we customize our e-mail digests to certain threads instead of forum sections?
