back to app programming.
Well really, it has everything to do with app programming. Undefeatedgames doesn't sound like he is at the level of programming that he would like to be, and so the suggestion here is to start by using a more open-source (read: more easily modifiable) platform instead of having to pay a large sum of cash for something that may not even work out.

Open-source = more viruses
'nuff said.
Also, for coding on iOS it's Objective to code it and xCode to compile it into an app

I'm basically looking for anyone who knows how to program a complicated iOS/Android app or knows someone who can.

The last time I checked, Ubuntu doesn't have many virus issues, and Windows was closed source. If anything, since the Unix base of OSX is open source it dshould be more vulnerable to viruses. Once again, iDevices have their limits. Personally I'd prefer an Android tablet (I have an iPad 2 now) that I would be able to make my own apps, OSes, etc.
Unfortunately, since I only have an iDevice but not access to a Mac, I haven't been able to code any apps for either. (Although if I get a MacBook Pro (I said I'm irritated with Apple as a company, their hardware is still amazing) I might be able to try)
Also, if you're not getting 60,000 dollars then maybe you're being a nice person and releasing your app as freeware?

Yeah apple sucks that way...

Sure. I'm trying to figure out how to submit my iOS app to the App Store right now.

You are far better off using an open-source platform.
Because of their open code, users are currently seeking the loopholes and backdoors, which may be exploited, and writing their own code to improve it. Because of this entire community of such users constantly helping and improving the opensource code, there are very few security holes in almost all opensource platforms.
Closed-source platforms, on the other hand, are much more vulnerable to attacks because of their closed nature. Only that limited amount of developers check, and they often miss things.
Opensource = less viruses.
Opensource is also very fast in development and advancing. Because of the constant improvements and new code submitted, opensource platforms have timescales in months rather than years.
Opensource platforms are also free.

Guess what?
When you make a scratch program and upload it to the website you are releasing an open source program.
Never in my life have I got a virus from and open source program.

I've used windows all my life, has never crashed, blue screened, or anything like that.
've you gotten a virus? anyways, people like me need new apps and are just reckless when downloading things (when i have enough disk space, that is) and don't care about viruses cause i won't get 'em.
and i'm not the only one in the world btw.
Also, if you want to have like a million things opened, that's when your computer will crash (windows)
Actually, I download plenty of things and I don't get many viruses on my Windows computer. It's not hard to figure out which things are viruses and which are okay. And no, I don't think about it at all. Also, I can't tell you how many times my Mac has crashed, nor how many times it's glitched up (going so far as the title bar hiding and the dock and desktop shortcuts being unresponsive, among others and arguably worse things). Also, you can do things like switch out parts on a Windows. Apple doesn't let you get inside a Mac.

I'm a registered apple dev, know basic Objective C and I have a professional dev that works for me.

Name something that does not involve Objective or XCode. Go on, I dare you.
__________
For android, I can name 2 that don't require Eclipse or Java (open source counterparts for Obj and XC)
Processing uses the Processing programming language (different enough from Java)
App Inventor uses... blocks. Yeah!

Objective C is what most use.
But since it's pretty complex (and I hate the syntax) I use JavaScript and HTML5 canvas.
Using phoneGap you can make pretty decent iOS apps.

So I made some okay appstuff in processing. It's not very good at all but it WORKS I repeat I made it in an hour and it WORKS
as in, draws a spiral. But it's fast, free, and was quite fun to write anyway.
