You can still use text emoticons even if they don't format as images. :)

A lot of scratchers make their own smilies.

If you just put it in announcements, I'd bet you'd get tons of entries.

There are so many different emoticons, we couldn't keep track of what scratchers are using.

Well you have the multipurpose _meow_, but more specific smilies (like the mentioned  smile   sad   big_smile   tongue   cool   tongue   wink  etc. ) would be cool. (I mean,  cool  .  wink  )

Support!!!! _meow_ is not specific enough like  cool ,  lol ,  big_smile ,  smile ,  neutral ,
  sad ,  tongue ,  roll ,  hmm ,  yikes , and  mad . I think we should be able to use the same code for them as on the forums.  smile
