.tiff files

Hi, I'm currently trying to use the Grab application on my computer, and I've saved my images in the Costumes file. Now, I go into Scratch, and I try to open the image, but it isn't there.

What file types can Scratch support?

4 isn't many. It includes more than that if it was to be "many".

Re: .tiff files

If you want to use them in Scratch, set Grab to save as a PNG or convert the image using a free tool like GIMP.

According to bobbybee, it's what the Scratch Docs said, blame the ST.

Re: .tiff files

Scratch doesn't support TIFF files, so you will have to use GIMP or Paint to convert them to one of the four types bobbybee mentioned

Re: .tiff files

Convert the TIFF file to GIF, PNG, JPEG or BMP using an image editor.

Goodbye, Scratch. I am leaving because of the exams coming up at our school, though I'll check the forums once or twice a week.

Re: .tiff files

Use Preview as your screenshot program. It can save as way more file types.

To use, go to file > take screenshot > then choose which type  smile
