Scratch

Well, according to my calculations, we ought to have had a new beta last month! Which means it should be coming up soon 

My reasoning:
December 2007 <- Scratch1.2
January 2008
February 2008
March 2008
April 2008
May 2008
June 2008
July 2008 <- Scratch 1.3 Beta? 7 months after 1.2 release
August 2008 <- Scratch 1.3
September 2008
October 2008
November 2008 <- Scratch 1.3.1
December 2008
January 2009
February 2009
March 2009
April  2009 <- Now, 8 months after 1.3 release.

However, we might need to wait as long as June, then it will be 7 months after 1.3.1 release.

Paddle2See could you ask the Scratch Team to show add stuff to the release notes so we know what new blocks there is going to be? I really want to see the new ones.

My version of Scratch says it was made in November (Scratch 1.3.1).

They really don't like to announce what new features there are going to be in the next release because sometimes it changes at the last minute (does anybody remember the Comment Block?) and then people get upset.  So we just have to be patient and wait - it's a surprise!

Here if anyone wants to see some stuff in 1.4 I found this. I'm pretty sure (not positive) I have the download page but if I do I won't share. Don't want it all over the place.

Relax... it'll be out soon enough anyway.

I think its strange that its only 2 weeks away and no OFFICIAL LAUNCH DATE!!!

scratch 1.4 is actually netscratch's blueprints and netscratch is messed up, so 1.4 is really netscratch but will be released on the scratch website
