Some details vary, but;

You are a 10 year old kid shoved out of your house with a mutant animal of unlimited power and sent into the wild.  You typically have an annoying rival who appears at the least convenient times.
Also, there's this evil team of some sort who wants to change the world for what they see as better usually.

You're a random kid, you name him and stuff, pokemon are nuclear accidents, and you're in a "region" as the games call it, no earth countries.

There are more than 600 pokemon, and shiny pokemon are the same but differently colored so they don't count as more.

Yes, by having every game you can catch every pokemon.  (There are some pokemon that can only be caught in certain regions, and even those pokemon are affected by what game you have, for instance one copy of pokemon diamond can't catch them all from that generation but diamond AND pearl together can.

Yes, I don't know them but I'm sure it's been done.

I said they're all nuclear accidents.
Luxray, as well as most other electric pokemon were closer to the explosion than others thus inheriting their electric powers from the electrical properties of nuclear power.

Replaying Heartgold version. Waiting for a pokémon battle. Got all shinies 001-493. Got all Legendaries. I just got all legend including Genesect, Meleotta, and Keldeo on pokémon BLACK version. Walkthrough the entire the JOHTO Kanto regions. Found Red at Mt. Silver. Shared a video at GTS. Using pokémon selector. Got Mewtwo Event. Got shiny Victini. Have every item in my pokémon Heartgold games. Got pokérus. Beat Trainer on Wi-Fi Club.

No one beats the classics. Charizard.is the best!

Why won't they ever do a Pokemon Red and Blue on the 3DS? That is what we all want.

They already made Red and Blue remakes.
