I think that you should only be able to go on the front page one a month, because other scratchers that make excellent projects get hardly any views and the people who are front paged all the time make one good project and the rest have little to no effort into them. This way, more scratchers would be on the front page, and people would see more of other peoples stuff.

Maybe a one week limit. A month seems harsh.

I think popular Scratcher's are giving up enough with the roatating front page. Therefor, I do not support. Sorry...

So should I say you half-agree?
I guess so.

Yeah, I support this idea.

Some basic info about Scratch, links to the Wiki, Forums, and About sites, and a link to the Projects tab.

maybe two weeks?

I'm not sure this will solve the problem. Something definitely needs to be done regarding getting cool projects from unknown Scratchers on the front page —the Featured section is not enough— but I'm not sure limiting the amount of times you are front paged in a month is the answer.

^ this. ^ If you limited the times people can get on the frontpage, then this could just cause people to get even madder, especially people who are always frontpaged.

I'm guessing your trying to say being featured only once a month, so I'll say what I think about that. Well made projects are featured, & can inspire newer scratchers to make more projects. After getting used to the program, & posting good projects, then their projects can get featured. In a sense it's like the circle of life. Therefore, I politely disagree with this idea.

If the project is good it will go on the front page, does that need to be complicated?
That's often not true though, because of how popularity works. If you get one project on the front page that everyone loves, great. Then everyone friends you and sees your next project when it comes out and everyone clicks on it on the front page, so it gets a similar amount of views no matter what it is. Like updates from famous people are often on the front page (or at least were the last time I looked at it which was like four or five months ago ^^)

The whole front page needs rethinking to be honest, this suggestion doesn't help.

Some basic info about Scratch, links to the Wiki, Forums, and About sites, and a link to the Projects tab.
At the moment, the entire front page needs reconsidering.
I agree partially with veggieman001...

If that happened I would quit scratch, because it would essentially become a pretty boring place to be other than the forums.
And maxdoss, suggestions like this come up time and time again, and nothing happens... I don't think this is going to be the one..

I don't agree because if it's worthy of the front page it should be there.

I support, but maybe lower the limit to two weeks.

I agree but i think a month is too harsh... maybe a week?
