Block Exchange!?!?!?!?
(I'm not sure where this goes, but since it's about the Lifelong Kindergarten Group, who made Scratch, I'm going to put it here. Mods, please move it if necessary.)
The website lists it as a current project--is it? This could be huge! I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but...

Hello - yes, this is a project we are working on. It's not going to be a part of Scratch 2.0's initial release, but we plan to release this at some point (with Scratch 2.0 being online, it would be easier for us to release incremental features like these).
