Minecraft Servers - in Scratch!

here's a simple idea for a project.
1. Use one Minecraft replica created by a Scratcher.
2.Then get together with a couple of helpers and make it into a Mesh version which records where everyone is.
3. Upload, give credit in project notes
4 (optional) compile to .jar using ToJar or to exe with Scratch2EXE.

If you do end up doing this, post here saying how well it worked!

Hmmm....mesh doesn't sound powerful enough. You would most likely need to use some form of raw sockets. Remote sensors connections always comes to mind. Try FireMMO for a project like this. (it can now be run on Windows, woot woot!  tongue )

Mesh can actually be rather powerful.  You just would have to define how many players can play at a time.
