Hey Ya is actually a not that bad song.
Not that good of a list, Hey Ya was the only one i actually liked. You'll recognize it when you hear it, they used it in The 3rd Shrek movie (not that i like those movies, which i don't like them.)

I agree that that list is awful, but as annoying as it is, that's what the majority of people listen to, so that's what they're gonna put in the list.

first, lets look at the definition of the word 'best'

best; adj; of the highest quality or standard or the most excellent type

now lets look at the definition of 'music'

music; n; sounds, usually produced by instruments or voices, that are arranged or played in order to create an effect

now, lets look at the definition of 'effect'

effect; n; a change or changed state occurring as a direct result of action by somebody or something else

we know that there are good effects on things and bad effects on things, but of course, different things have different effects on different people, which makes it all relative.

for example, i think the majority of that music is bull and belongs in the garbage and simply isn't done in a musical way. but that may be different for other people. In fact, most people would disagree with me. Which leads me to my next point.

since this is relative, this list isnt ACTUALLY designed to be 'THE best', but rather 'the best according to the opinions of the majority of society', simply put, whatever people like the most is considered the best.

I agree with everything you wrote, with the exception of I Got A Feeling. Other than that, you are 100% right, there is about 1 out of every 10 songs that is actually good.

Edit: Although, I don't know what SHOULD be on the list. Everyone who was good is now either broken up (Gn'R) or producing music that is supposed to appeal to these peoples' "tastes." (Metallica, AC/DC)
