Aeroterra - A Minecraft Server

GRAND OPENING: 10:00 AM (CST) SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH

There seems to be some confusion on how to buy plots in the city.  To do this, find the designated pillar for one of the following:
- Small Apartment - 8 credits
- Medium Apartment - 24 credits
- Large Apartment - 48 credits
- City Plot - 96 credits
- Personal Floating Platform - 288 credits

These are right outside of spawn.  Then, leave the payment that is marked on the pillar in one of the chests next to the pillar and put a sign with your name on it above the chest.  An admin will collect the payment and you will be told which plot is yours shortly.  If a while goes by without you hearing from an admin, look at the pillar and your sign may say which plot you should go to.

If your payment is stolen, report it to an admin immediately.

Connection Details
The server is running in offline mode and does not have a whitelist.  It has 16 slots. We are using AuthMe to prevent account stealing, so please make sure the password you register with is long and secure.  If you attempt to log in with others' accounts, you WILL be IP banned permanently.  Also, please note that no more than TWO accounts will be permitted from the same IP.  Violation of this may also lead to an IP ban.  If you use an internet cafe or something, please clear it with me beforehand.

About
Aeroterra is a unique blend of factions, PvP, survival, and building.  One spawns on top of a gigantic floating city, where you can live safely without fear of PvP - for a price.  In order to gain materials and therefore further your interests on the server, however, you must venture to the lands below the city, where everything goes.

Factions
Aeroterra has the factions plugin. To create a faction, type /f create [name].

If you don't know what factions is, it's a plugin that allows groups of users to claim land that is protected from other members.  However, if you die the faction's power goes down, leaving your faction helpless to other factions which can then claim land from you.

Note that factions with just one member will be disbanded if they don't have more members within 24 hours of their founding.  Factions with negative power will also be disbanded if they do not get their power level back positive within 24 hours.

1 iron = 1 credit
1 gold = 4 credits
1 diamond = 16 credits

PvP on the Ground
On the ground, it's a free-for-all; everything goes, be it stealing, killing, looting, or destroying.

Artifacts
Around the map are hidden several enchanted artifacts of great worth.  These may be used for one's own benefit or for the faction's benefit if found.  To keep the fun of artifacts going, a new artifact will be hidden once a week.
