If you don't want to download anything and you have Quicktime X, you can go to File > New Screen Recording.
However, this does not record sound, so you can 1) retrofit the sound in iMovie or 2) get something else that does.

There's no way to convert a .sb file to any video file, but you can use a screen recorder, such as CamStudio, which is probably the best free one.

Right, of course that user is using a windows even though it says "MAC" in the title.
The only way to convert the Scratch project into a movie is by a screen recorder, not by converting it.
