Aha! Blender! So, were you using the regular renderer, or the new one, Cycles?

In Blender, press F6, press Add New in one of the empty slots and select the texture you want.
Adjust the settings.
Press F5. Adjust the colours, reflectiveness, specularity, transparency, then go over to the Textures tab.
Make sure the texture you want to use is selected, and then press the Map To subtab.
To make the texture bumpy, make sure Nor is selected, and adjust the Nor slider. (Higher values are more bumpy).
Play around with the colour settings and the other buttons and you'll soon get a nice texture!

What exactly do you want to apply?
Everything's in the OBJ file: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resou … _hawk.html

Import the model first (File>Import>.obj file)
Right-click to select the model.
Press F5.
If it doesn't show anything but a blank set of tabs and a few buttons, go to the Links and Pipeline tab>the little arrows by the side of the button labelled Add New>select GlobalHawkJustMod from the popup list.

Can you do it? It's not working for me.
Just add the texture, have the model so the front faces to the right, and take a picture on your screen. That's all I need.

Could you make the screen brighter and have the camera move more to the left?
