Scratch

I am trying to implement a game similar to pong into scratch. I am using two paddles on the bottom of the screen with a moving basketball hoop on the top. How do I make the basketball hoop move left and right on the top? and how do I make the ball bounce back towards the paddle after hitting a brick (like in brickbreaker)?
