I do not want to go through the tiring process of mixing that using two softwares again. You have no idea how sloppy it sounds without using FL Studio. Look on the bright side, it is a really good job for a job that was once in a muddle according to techno. And no, I'm not contemplating mixing this again and having to go through the pain I faced.

Didn't you save a copy of the mix where all the tracks are separate? That's what I always do as it makes things a lot easier later. 

No no no. On FL Studio, tracks are mixed differently to Audacity. It is the mixing of the guitar tracks that I am worried about. Look, it's no use, nothing more can be done and will not be done as I have no intentions of redoing it. Let's just end this discussion here as it is heading in a pointless direction.

Uh... you can save project files in FL Studio. Don't act like I'm clueless;; I've used it before.

I never said that you couldn't save tracks; I merely said the mixing was done on two different softwares, so I will have to rearrange the tracks again since I don't have the FL Studio one saved!

WHAT IS the point of continuing this discussion if the problem CANNOT BE SALVAGED? I know you want to increase that no. of posts of your's, but please, don't do so here. This is a thread for band members' discussions.

I spent a hell of a lot of time telling veggieman why I couldn't redo the track and had no intentions of doing so. Why don't you put yourself in the band's shoes?? Only techno and I know what a pain in the neck it was to mix the tracks and what she tried to tell me was to mix it again. It is EXTREMELY HARD to mix these particular tracks and I don't want to have to go throught that trouble again. There, I hope you understand. And don't worry, we aren't gonna 'fall hard and quick'...

Seems like nobody said what they thought about DIY taking my spot. I'm not sure if I'll be able to record and mix anytime soon, but if anything DIY should be on my spot (bass, mixing and de facto leader) only temporarily.

I must say fg123 has been right all this time though, you really should listen to the advice people outside the band give you, rather than just try to prove them wrong with walls of text (I see your replies as that). I've been doubting putting you in my spot just because of that, seriously.

I agree with veggie, LSJ isn't perfect yet. It may be hard to fix it but you have plenty of time - we have no set deadline. He was right when he said we should care more about sound than schedule.
