I'm a grown up and I have a lot of fun with scratch ;-)
But that wasn't your question - a colleague of mine in Norwich (UK) used scratch in a group of "access to Higher Education" course. As far as I know, they enjoyed it - some got really involved, but there is a "this can't be serious" barrier to overcome at that age.
A characteristic of adult education is that adults have reasons to be there, e.g. in my colleague's group wanting to progress at work, so they have to feel that what they learn will fit with their intentions.

Hey, this is very interesting. Can you give me more information about this group?
What do they learn there in the lessons? What is the caracteristic of the lessons? What do they do there? How well does Scratch fit in there?
I d love to hear more from you!
Best Regards, Philipp
