First of all, welcome to Scratch. Glad to have you. In this topic, I'm going to explain the things you should never do. Aside from things involving the Terms of Use, there are some things that you just don't do, and I'm going to list them.
1. Starting a topic inside a topic
This is something I've seen before. It's when you're talking about one thing, and then a New Scratcher up and changes the subject.
Example
Scratcher 1: How do I move a sprite?
Scratcher 2: It depends on how you want to move the sprite.
New Scratcher: Hello, I need some help with creating sprites.
This can get really annoying. Make a new topic, and you'll get the help you need.
2. Necroposting
This is something New Scratchers do a lot. Necroposting is bumping up old topics that are weeks, months, or even years old that nobody remembers. I once clicked on an od collab that some New Scratcher evidently bumped up from about a year ago, and not knowing it was inactive, I signed up. I heard that there might be a necropost restriction for New Scratchers, but until that comes around, don't necropost.
3. Posting in the wrong forum
This still happens. It's as simple as reading the form description before you post. If it doesn't belong anywhere, then just don't post it.
I will update this from time to time, and if there's anything annoying a New Scratcher might do, tell me.

I hope I don't sound rude, but do we really need another of these threads?

Some people just like making guides.

I think that having one forum for this kind of stuff is plenty. No need to have duplicates.
