When downloading Scratch on my laptop, it went:

42 minutes left
49 minutes left
57 minutes left
59 minutes left
1 hour left

I guess the computer is just trying to calculate the time. The computer doesn't know exactly the time because sometimes the computer doesn't know the actual size of the file.

That's a known bug, it will show up the word "Quit" sometimes when starting it up.
