Are there any policies for remixing? Also, do I have the right to tell people they can't remix? I mean, they are my projects. If so, and I tell them they can't remix, is there a penalty for that? There isn't some hack to disable remixing, is there?

I don't get it. Even if scratchers can't remix, they can still SHARE their projects.

You can politely request that people not remix your project, but they aren't forced to comply. If you upload the project to your own website, though, then you can make such a limitation.

Whenever you upload something to the website, the project is automatically covered under a CC license. This means that an entire project is open for remixing, and it also means that anything in the project - scripts, music, art, games, etc. - can be used by others. No permission is required so long as credit is given where credit is due.

There's no penalty, but usually a notification is sent about how remixing is encouraged.

Adding a remix lock is already listed as a rejected suggestion, so there will be no such thing as a remix lock anytime in the future.

You could watermark it in a program outside of Scratch, so the watermark is part of the image layer and not the text.
