I have a riddle that my friend told me c:
A very rich woman lived in a circular house. One day, she finds that her expensive jewelry has been stolen. There are four suspects: The doctor who was giving a shot, the husband who was at work, the maid who was cleaning a corner, and the butler who was taking off her disguise. Who stole the jewelry?
By the way, don't ask why this riddle is so weird. I have no idea what was going through my friend's mind when he made this up xD

Your friend didn't make that up, I've heard it before. The answer is the maid cuz there are no corners in a circular house.

Yeah, it's the maid. There's no corners in a circular house, is there?

I don't understand how that means that it was the maid though...

Because she said she was cleaning a corner when the crime happened. She was lying, since there are no corners in a circular house. Therefore, she is the one who stole the jewelry.

Oh, I see. I didn't know that those were just the suspect's excuses though, I thought that they were all the truth.

Well the rest were the truth.
I'm not sure about the butler one though. I think my friend just threw that in because he couldn't think of anything else and wanted to trick people XD
But obviously the maid one wasn't the truth since a circular house doesn't have corners.

Yeah. But I mean you didn't say that those statements were just the allabies (spell fail) that those people gave, so I assumed that all of them of were true.
