Slight thing - Open Mind ended up in startup on Win7 x64.  But it was installed into the correct place.

When you say 'startup' do you mean it runs when you turn your pc on?

Yup. Somehow a shortcut got installed to my startup folder.

Yes thats a bug with the installer. Version 2, not saying anything yet  tongue  , will have an installer written by me in c# not a generator.  smile

Re: Open Mind: mind mapping software

I just tried http://freemind.sourceforge.net
it is written in Java, grabs only 13 MB on HD
runs with Linux, Win and Mac...

Despite 4000 downloads/day i could not find it on cnet´s list.

Has anyone a great webresource with lots of samples
for using mindmaps?

Re: Open Mind: mind mapping software

Even you refer to other mind mapping software
both in your topic ´mind mapping´ and in your link to CNET.

Again, has anyone a great webresource with lots of samples
for using mindmaps?

How about a seperate topic for your questions? I just dont see any relevence at all to Open Mind. When I talk about other software its in the context of Open Mind.  neutral
