I already own a picture disc of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band :'3 It's kinda valuable...
But today (from our local alternative clothing & record shop *coughTHEOASIScough*) I purchased:
> A limited edition Danger Days vinyl for £25
> The Black Parade collector's box set with vinyl for £60
> I Don't Love You single (normal CD) that they gave me free
> And a free calendar!
All MCR-based. :3
The whole vinyl & record section of the shop is amazing, filled with alternative/rock/metal/indie records. I love looking at all the stuff they have. They even have an original Green Day's Dookie cardboard CD display, that would have been used when the album was first put on sale. If I had a few grand to spare I'd buy everything they had!
Anyone else like obtaining vinyl records or just looking at that kind-of vintage music memorabilia?

There was a U2 vinyl in the record section today, but I didn't notice the name...

Which version of Sgt. Peppers?
Some cool vinyls I own:
The King of Limbs Newspaper Album - Radiohead (2x10", clear, CD, blotter paper, newspaper)
Travellers In Space And Time - The Apples in stereo (2xLP, bonus covers 12")
F#A#∞ - Godspeed You Black Emperor! (LP, bonus inserts, crushed Canadian penny)
Plantations of Pale Pink - Guided by Voices (7" EP, orange vinyl, limited edition)
J.W.Kellogg EP - Von Hemmling (12" EP, one-sided)
You can also see everything I own here (on all formats though)

Well, according to there, I only have 133 CDs. That's not too many, and quite a few were my father's.

I didn't go through it all, I just saw the page guessed there were 20-40 songs per page and saw 29 pages

It's a Sargeant Pepper's picture disc, so it has the cover art printed on the record. It's one of my prized possessions.
I also had a copy of another Beatles vinyl I saw on eBay for like £2000... but I think my parents threw it out >.>
We have about 250 LPs lying around in the house, most are really old or useless though.

I'm saving up to buy Bullets by MCR on yellow vinyl when the guy orders a copy in. Though I would really like the A7x Nightmare LP. But I'm going to blow some birthday money on a skeleton babygrow so I think I'll wait.
They had an amazing Misfits LP too, but it was £40 >.<

Oh and I forgot to mention but I have the first two American Beatles albums (in stereo!) in great condition. :3

Yeah, vinyl is having a comeback. They're replacing CDs as the main physical format, actually.

Wow. 0:
I know my Sgt. Peppers is in MINT condition (my parents refuse to let me look after it myself) so that one day I can sell it to a collector for a fortune. xD
I forgot the name of the Beatles LP I had, but on the cover it was the 4 of them all looking down from some railings... Help!, I think? :S
But yeah, we have Rolling Stones in here, and quite a few gems I'll only list if I can be bothered.

Most if not all things sound better on vinyl than anything else.

Yes, because vinyl has a virtually unlimited quality

That's the one. I never really liked that album so that's why I wasn't bothered that it had been thrown away until I discovered it's value o:
I might get American Idiot on LP next. :3

I went to a show last night (Breathe Owl Breathe) and got their most recent album on LP. It sounds wonderful, and it's on pink vinyl
