Fatal VM Error when clicking Want Help

Help!, the program crashes when you try to click Help.

After installing Scratch 1.3.1 on Win XP Pro SP2 in a classroom, the program seems to work apart from the error "Fatal VM Error" when "Want Help" is clicked, which all it does when working (works on my computer), is launch an html file in a browser. IE6 is installed where it works and doesn't work. Tried putting latest Firefox on computer where it doesn't work but same problem. Switched default browsers. Still no go.

I have some excerpts of the dump file below if it helps, but I can't find any reference to this problem searching the net.
