Wouldn't it be epic if there was a cross between Minecraft and Star Wars Battlefront II? I say we should make one! But in Java or Lua?

Look it up. Find a few gameplay videos. Read an online manual.

It's a Star Wars FPS.
It's really fun.

You can code minecraft mods in lua? Anyway I'll help, I'm an ok modder in java.
You can't make MC mods in Lua. Or at least not without a Lua-to-Java converter of some sort. I'm talking about making a game with Minecraft-style building, and Star Wars Battlefront II-style fighting. Java seems a promising choice because it's what Minecraft is already written in (though I have seen nearly identical things written in C++, so Java might not be the key), but Lua is a powerful and fast language in which Star Wars Battlefront II is written. They both have further advantages and disadvantages that run deeper, but hey, that's not important to explain fully.
