Hey All!
I'm new to the community. My name is Gummii! The Scratch community is pretty welcoming so far. I've checked out some pretty EPIC stuff on here. Like caramellstar and Astro, and of course DIY. Obviously I'm not gonna be as big as THOSE guys, but all I ask is that you help me along the way. I'm not just new to the community, I'm also new to SCRATCH. So, I will probably be asking help... is that Okay with Yuuu guys?

Some good advice for you:
Make inspiring projects. Educational ones are an example. I'm not much of a fan of educational games, but I still take a look at them. I've noticed that a lot of educational projects often get featured. Actually, my VERY FIRST project was featured, just because it was educational! Originally, I thought this would make me a famous scratcher, but I was horribly wrong. My "Lucas vs. Fassad 1.7" project has less than 1/100th of the views my "Maze of Fungi" project has. A great way to get more views is to put a link to your project in your signature (once you become a regular Scratcher). Oh, and if you see another new scratcher's project, it's good to post an encouraging comment on it. Other scratchers would appreciate you for taking time to look at even the most minor things. Plus, it helps to keep scratchers from quitting. Whenever I see an "I Quit" project, I always feel like I should have done something to prevent it.
Hm, I can't think of anything else to say right now...
Anyway, have fun and good luck!
