We're planning to make a desktop with i3 and Linux.
Do you guys have any tips? I know a couple of you guys on here have made a computer.

You should:
-Use Intel Core Four Quad
-Use Ultra brand case
-Use 2 hard disks, C for everything but backup, D for backup

I would go with i5 or i7 if you plan to do much more than surfing the web and checking email. If you ever want to do any serious gaming, go with AT LEAST a mid-range i5, preferably an i7.

We need more info about what you plan to do with this computer, if you want relevant tips.
