It seems to be most popular with Minecraft, but it's when a gamer(s) record themselves playing a video game and upload it to youtube. They are generally meant to be humorous or instructional.

Try Stinkoman 20X6. It's a really fun platforming game with 10 levels, and it's pretty funny sometimes. It's meant to be kind of like Mega Man, and it's like one of those badly translated Japanese games from the 80's.
I really did think you meant a record for a second. Which is sad.

I only know because I read a story about the guy (Peter Carl Goldmark) who made the LP. He was at a party, listening to some Brahm's, when suddenly there was a scratch and they had to change the record and he was really annoyed so he went and helped make the LP. Not sure if it's true, but if it is, that was the worst party ever.

I don't think you can make a game full screen, though, unless it's part of the game. Some websites (I think maybe Newgrounds) can darken the screen, though.

And if you want a good LP, you should put something into it.
If that means buying FRAPS then do it.
