I love this song by John Lennon, though I hate vulgarity. I also love the album it's on, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. John Lennon's my idol <3

John Lennon was a horrible person.
He was a hippie or whatever.
I don't think he actually did anything terrible and he supported peace.
Provide examples and I will listen though.

He cheated on his wife. And he was overall a jerk.

Nobody is perfect.
Though the example is religious, even prophets in the bible committed polygamy
Oh jerk, well he might have been. I like The Beatles music though.

I enjoy some Beatles as well but I am in no way a fan of any of his solo work.

Okay, he didn't "cheat" on his wife
They mutually agreed to see other people for a while, even though they were married
It was referred to as "The Lost Weekend" and John personally said it was the worst weeks of his life
Also John Lennon is pretty awesome; I have Power to the People: The Hits, although I'm not particularly fond of "Working Class Hero," I really like his other songs.

You may want to have a look at the "Divorce" section of the Cynthia Lennon page on Wikipedia.

This sounds like flamebait to me. When you come out with a statement like this, it's good practice to provide some supporting material.

Apologies. I'm currently in the process of backing it up right now.

I don't know if I want to be in a conversation that hates on my idol. So I won't. My fifth grade class got to go to NY on a field trip (I didn't ) and they apparently went to see the Imagine mosiac. THE IMAGINE MOSAIC!

Okay I thought we were talking about Yoko, who I consider to be his "wife" seeing as he never really loved Cynthia
Anyway I'll just escort myself out of this topic now

I consider someone [female] to be someone's wife if they're married.

Well Cynthia's not married to John anymore, is she? That makes her his ex-wife.

Yes, but he cheated on her while they were married.
