It's harder than it looks when you're literally picking up a guitar for the first time ever though.

not really. i was alien to guitars, and i have been taking lessons for about half a year now, and now i sound really good.

well the thing is, guitars are easy to learn, but there is also some really hard stuff about guitar. and i don't think it's overrated, i mean, with all the different sounds it's almost like having a second voice.
