It looks interesting. I'm requesting an account, to see if it's as cool as it sounds. It looks like you can buy stuff with points you can transfer between scratchers. You can then use your points, to buy "Virtual" items. I don't know what kinds of items they are though, so I'm signing up now to see.

It's nothing official, just an interesting simulated-cash system that mewkid is running. You can learn more about it on this forum topic.

It's nothing official, just an interesting simulated-cash system that mewkid is running. You can learn more about it on this forum topic.
Thanks. I didn't think it was official, but you guys should make something similar to be officially in scratch. For an example, love its, and favorites on projects could be worth something. Maybe even a like button on the forums (if possible) to get points. The points could then be redeemed for scratch related things (like sounds, music, sprites ect.) made by scratchers.

Ah. That makes sense. I do think though, that some kind of points system would encourage users to upload projects, and view more projects. There just doesn't seem like a good way to do it without it becoming like what you said.

Maybe you should be able to give users love-its but maybe you could only give one a day?
