how can i post my own image (avatar) of my character?

You cannot do that in the forums. On the main site, access ' mystuff ' through the menu at the top of the website, then click on the link that is labelled 'change picture '. Select an image and press OK.Then select 'update'.
how do i select an image of my project?
Take a screenshot of it. Open Paint or another image editor. Paste the screenshot with Ctrl-V. Save it as a GIF, JPG or other common image format.
