Blurring doesn't get rid of sharp and harsh, it limits visibility.
Antialiasing gets rid of sharp and harsh. Perhaps you could have selected all the sketchup objects, grouped them and softened their edges?
And who said you were part of the band as a musical member...?I NEVER said I was a musical member of the band. I've clearly highlighted that above. And to answer your question, no one said so...
My SketchUp image blends in with the rest of the background, creating a more realistic look to it. It is anything but sharp...So what's the difference between you and me intervening in the band's matters?
And definitely has a realistic look, with the white aliased edges, eh?
Shut up... please...
I have done helpful stuff to the band as graphic and web designer. Unlike you, I've helped them. The only way you've contributed is by useless arguments. And I am a member of the band; I am the Graphic Designer for FC.
And there is a BIG difference between realistic and reminiscent. Even shadow's 3D images aren't reminiscent to an actual scene. I am good at Blender too, but SketchUp is a different art platform. Oh, and those 'white aliased edges' are shadows. It would be ugly to use a stock photo for an album art like this. And your cover, it was no better, pretty amateur really. It was pretty shoddy, your one, eh?
Lastly, please don't spam this topic as you are a waste of space here already. Please, just go.

He cares because he's a fan of FC
We need to get the next few songs done instead of fighting with each other.
Otherwise, our fans, like him, will be dissapointed.

Didn't I try to do that before Lellowsfuzz made a big fuss? Anyway, do you know if techno wants us to do Gone yet?

Yes, let's stop whining about everything and get to work. We may have only a tiny fanbase, but that's 5~ people that will be dissapointed if suddenly FC is no more due to all this. I'm unsure about not letting fg123 post though, he's just giving suggestions most of the time, which are often misinterpreted (from what I've seen) and then bam, a whole page of you two arguing appears.

I'd rather have us record as much as we can, I can't mix at all right now (who knows when will this stop) and even if I could, recording while I mix would be far more efficient. Definitely record Gone now. After that, I don't know.
About the piano tracks: I listened to both now and I have yet another reason to prioritize Lellowsfuzz's track - DIY's recording doesn't sound good at all. It may be a little sloppy, but When I'm Beside You's tracks were also a little sloppy and it sounds pretty good with the rest of the band.
About fg123's comment on DIY's Sketchup image: He's kinda right. The white pixels (definitely not shading) make the whole thing look rushed and amateurish, it's exactly why I tried to remove them in Paint.NET. I mentioned this many times in Take 2.
About Flashback: Awesome. Why not actually add some lyrics to it? I can already imagine a simple chorus, "A flashbaaack, in my mind, memorieees, [something else]"
Guitar and bass should kick in right in bar 4, and maybe rest during the first verse.
EDIT: OH and an idea I always forget to post here... Why don't we recycle some of [url=http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/62257]my old stuff[/u]? Check out song packs 7, 6, 5 and 4, there's many potential in some of those.
Check out "Broken Heart" from the 4th, "Downtown Streets" from the 5th, "Garage Band" and "I Don't Give Up" from the 6th (in new stuff) and "Memories II" (DO EET, I even have a solo for it) from the 7th.

I'd be happy to take the role.
If ContinentalRain doesn't answer and we don't find her main account, I guess we could hold auditions.

Oh come on... We are still using the album art right? And have you noticed, fg123 always seems to criticise rather than be helpful? It's not constructive criticism as he always has something to say against me.
P.S. I have almost done completing Reload with vocals and a chorus and it sounds great so far.

I like "Adventure" from the 5th song pack. I think it would be a nice change in style from what we normally do.
Also, how do you add words to the notes for the voice part? I'm making a voice part for Flashback.

There is a button with the letters 'la-'. That will add the lyrics for you.

We are using it because it has the most fitting style out of the rest, but there's many things that could be improved. The excess of blur and the white pixels, particularly - both shouldn't be that hard to fix (re-render and edit in GIMP, perhaps?). The art must be as good as we (you?) can make it, it's the first impression people will have of the album (yes, I know the music matters much more, but the purpose of the cover art is to attract people to buy or listen to it, so they will get to know the actual product).
I still think we shouldn't use Reload, even if it's completely revamped. I'll go ask designer45 if she's fine with it.

Of course he can't be always right - nobody can, but honestly I think the problem is that he seems to take everything as a personal attack.
When I have the time, I must add bass and maybe guitar to Flashback, and get that raw mix of LSJ done.

Problem isn't that I take everything as a personal attack. Anyone in my place will understand. Let's just finish this once and for all.
And yes, ask designer, I'm sure she'll be fine with it.

I've told you all ready that they are in separate SketchUp files. It would be of no use to upload these separately.
