Hmmm. But the oldest post on it is only Jan 2nd? The three month rule is there so that you can get some experience running your forum before you "go public" with it. Also, have you read LS97's security suggestions? Lot's of helpful hints...
Jan 2nd.
Jan 22nd.
20 days.
20 days = ~1 month.
I guess I should of noticed that.
Anyway, I read LS97's suggestions, and trust me, I have experience of running a forum before this. I had experience of that for ~3 weeks.
7x3=21.
21 days = ~1 month and a day.
2 months and a day of experience.
(plus 1 day of running it before releasing it to Daroach via Minecraft)
2 months 2 days.
That means 18 days left until 3 months.
18 days isn't a long time.
Thus, it IS about to hit 3 months.Average number of days in a month = 365 / 12 = 30.4 days
21 days = 21/30.4 = 0.69 months
3 months = 3 * 30.4 = 91 days, or 70 days still to go.
I have had a forum in ~October 2011.
Just remembered.
Had it until ~November 2011.
I have had this forum for 1 month.
Old forum = 1 month.
That is 60 days.
I don't even need to use a calculator. 10 days until 3 months.

Great! But I also saw a Forum section there...how long has it been up and running? Forums seem to be one of the most problematic areas where we really want to see people get some experience before they "go public" in the Scratch forums.

The requirements don't say anything about how much experience you have with other forums - they require that you have 3 months with this forum. Sorry.

ThanksWell, the forums looked good. The chat is a problem, as you've noted. Why don't you send me another report when the chat is gone and I'll take another look? As for the facebook and twitter links you asked about...we don't have a problem with twitter, as it's pretty anonymous. But facebook reveals way too much information for comfort, in our opinion so we really don't like to see links to it.
Ok, sounds like I'll have to get around to messing around with the code again. Thanks for the twitter/facebook thing.
Looks good now - I'll add it to the list

The way it works, is you take the date of your website...and then add 3 months. So if your website date is 21 December, then on 21 January it was one month old, on the 21 February it will be two months old and the earliest it can be eligible is 21 March.

With the publicly visible posts thing,is it okay if our forum has a mod forum to discuss things like banning and moderation?
Oh, and a dustbin where we store posts users don't want anymore for future reference for the mods.

Does that mean a) only we see the information and no one else or b) anything posted by a user has to be reviewed by me before posted to the public? I was thinking of trying to add comments to my blog with moderation. And I'm the only one who manages it.
