I loved Super Mario 64 once it came out. A 3D Mario game? I'd take that over Somari any day. I loved it so much that I thought it deserved a sequel. And it did, then it was cancelled. But then, we did get a sequel. Well, kind of. We got Super Mario Sunshine.
When SMS came out, I was thinking that this was the long anticipated sequel to Super Mario 64. But it wasn't that way at first:
Shine Sprites instead of Stars.
Fludd.
Overloads and overloads of Red Coin missions.
And Bowser Jr.
All of that made SMS seem nothing like Super Mario 64. So playing through the game, I came across the one thing that sparked my mind. Remember in Super Mario 64? That star statue that read "L is real in 2401?" that referenced the phrase Luigi is real in Paper Mario? Well, I only have to type it so you know what I'm talking about.
Book in the Bottle.
You know, the book inside of the bottle in that level of Noki Bay? That made me think of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, because the game starts in a book. It was the most interesting thing in the game!
The graphics are amazing, the controls are neat. But the Hover Nozzle contols are kinda off. The voice acting is amazing! I liked that I could finally hear the characters speak!
Overall: 9.5/10
Graphics 9, Sound 9, Controls 8.5, Voice Acting 9, Gameplay 9

Could you review a Rock Band game? [/RockBandfan]
Or you could review something like Super Monkey Ball 2...but you probably don't have that. Maybe you could do Animal Crossing: City Folk.
