I don't think anyone will do.
I read the Scratch Team released a really early Alpha version of it at Scratch Day last year, but apparently noone was allowed to take a copy of it.

This. There was a leak or two here and there, but they were cleaned up quickly. It wasn't ever really supposed to leave Scratch Day last year.

No one who got the pre-alpha from Scratch Day is allowed to share it. They had to sign a legal document so the Scratch Team knew that it would not be distributed. I think there were two links distributed, but the Scratch Team deleted them quickly.
@lu9: No. They are trying they're best to release it before Scratch Day 2012. And even that would be a stretch.

Nope, the leaks were cleaned up.

Thanks for linking to me. BTW, I'm kick-starting 2.0, and heres what I NEED/WILL DO
@ Is it possible for someone who has the pre-alpha to make a video of them making, playing and saving it? If you do, using ALL the new blocks would really help
@ Maybe add a forum
@ Make mocks on how we think it will look like
@ Create a block suggestions box.

Scratch 2.0, I believe, will not be available officially for another few months/years.
Apparently they are recoding the entire thing in Flash.
Just wait.
Probably months.
Maybe a special summer release?
But it probably won't be years

From now on, please refer to the Scratch Day 2011 pre-alpha as "Ye olde pre-alpha", using an English accent dating roughly from the 14th century. Cuz that's about how old it is.

Hmm, alright. Though I can't make any promises about the accent because I haven't heard anyone from c. 14th century England speak before ^^
