I don't know what swear word that is, but I think I don't know it
It isn't a swear, its just not a word you mention on a kids site.
It means the photography of naked people, so to speak.

So did I xD It's not a swear though. If it was, it'd be censored. But it's not. Pornography. See?

Then I use an image manipulator to change the lighting and make the background blurrier
In the end it looks professional.

I never said you couldn't get good shots with point and shoots! But you'd never catch a professional photographer dead with one, because they certainly do have their limits and very often won't take photos nearly as well as [d]slrs.I think I'll buy a point-and-shoot to practice, and if it becomes a long-term hobby and I have the funds, I'll buy a DLSR.
Good idea! Just keep in mind that taking photos with a DSLR is a completely different practice - there's a lot of things you have to worry about with them that Point and Shoots just don't care about.
Very true... I've got a prosumer with 26x zoom, you can't get that on a DSLR... not without changing lenses a lot of times anyway.
And then you've got shutter controls, aperture, ISO etc etc.
My camera does have manual controls though, and it seems that a lot of higher level point-shoots cameras are following this trend
I still haven't done any good HDRs yet, so I'll have to work on that

When I read the first part, I thought "here comes the spy with the file 'fungirl123'..."
I remember my first camera. He was so happy. ^3^
Then he died of a cracked screen. T^T

Oooh, photography! I love photography!!!!
...But I'm not going to post my pictures here. Too many, and they're too big. They're really good for point-and-shoot shots though. (Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS. The BEST Bar Mitzvah gift ever!!!)

I don't need one. (for blurry backgrounds)
(aperture 3.5 at 18mm)
Otherwise, Adobe Photoshot 5.0 (or 5.1)

I was asking fungirl.
And about your 18mm lens, what camera do you have?
(I can get my camera to 2.8 aperture at 26mm (35mm equiv), and 5.0 at 678mm (35mm equiv)
