Hypocrisy is for bad things though. Saying "You're a great guitarist" when you are as well isn't hypocrisy, because it's a compliment.

I was replying to your above post, everyone seems to have a different idea of what hypocrite means.

We're off topic because people decide to pull out random, unrelated points in what someone says then argue about it.

Um, they never called you a hypocrite. They were replying to your "even if I was a newbie I'd still be allowed to call newbies newbies, hypocrisy isn't a bad thing"

They were saying that hypocrisy was a bad thing and you suddenly blurt out that they were calling you a hypocrite.
