Web Logs a.k.a. Blogs

Do you have one? What do you use to make it (or do you just type up the HTML)?

I have several. I don't know if I should link it here though...

I have one. It's in my signature. I don't post that often but I still post stuff once in a while.

Well, how are you using the blog? Is it just a standalone blog or is it going to be part of a website?

If you're trying to build a website with a blog and you're not in the mood to fool around with HTML, then you need a website builder with a blog integration/blog widget built right in. I know that Yola have a built-in blog system integrated with DISQUS (which allows you monitor blog comments).

Re: Web Logs a.k.a. Blogs

i'm not too good at designing pretty things with html, so i think i'm just going to use a prebuilt one.

if i'm allowed to, i'm going to try to get the blog on the school website, but if i can't, then it'll just be linked from there.

Re: Web Logs a.k.a. Blogs

If you know PHP, you could always write a quick script for adding new things to your blog, but else you probably should use a prebuilt template.

I have one. I use wordpress it's a neat little package. When I want to do html I use my own program which shows a live view of what you have written.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Re: Web Logs a.k.a. Blogs

Yep, I have one for my website, typeint.com. I use Blogger. I generally use their rich text editor (why spend the time writing extra to do the HTML), but occasionally I do, when I am doing something more complicated. The blog is at typeint.blogspot.com, instead of on my website, because I'm trying to keep costs as low as possible, and I had to pay to access the feature.
