How long does it take to become a scratcher?

I made my scratch acount a few weeks ago and I want to be able to post in the miscilaneus section. I am labeled as a "new scratcher" and I am wondering how long it takes to become a "scratcher" so i can post in the miscilaneus section.

About 2 or so months. You just have to be active on the site! (post a lot, make projects, comment, etc)  big_smile

it depends if you're lucky or not. posting a lot of helpful, nice, things in the Forums and making some projects will help you. I'm a New Scratcher too, but I read a lot of topics and replies on how to become a Scratcher. Be patient! It WILL happen!
lol i sound dumb saying this because i AM a new scratcher and this is my 1st account.

Hmm... this is a good question to ask the Scratch Team.
Maybe it has to do with how much time you spend online.

I have no idea when I became one because I didn't end up using the Scratch Forums much for two whole years.
Even now, I don't use the Scratch Team much.

it depends. if you spend a good amount of time commenting, making projects and beind active in the forums, you can be a 'scratcher' faster, however if you don't get too active on the site, then you will stay a 'new scratcher' longer, hope this helped  big_smile

2 months or so. Depends on behavior to other Scratchers, how long your active, and how much  you post. I don't know if those are actually related to it, but i'm sure it will help. It took me 4-3 months for me to become a scratcher.

Just be active for a few months (Post on the forums, comments will give you a tiny boost, posting projects will help, etc) on the website, and you should be a Scratcher soon.  smile

It takes different amounts for everyone. Just be patient. Go here for more information about the new scratcher status.
