A lot of you Scratchers will know about my gaming studio, DIY Productions. Following my project, Alone’s fantastic reception, I have decided to carry on another company that looked like it was on its last legs. This company is called Triple Gun Entertainment. The section in italics just gives you a brief introduction into the start-up of Triple Gun Entertainment, so don’t bother reading that if you are not interested.
Triple Gun Entertainment (or simply TGE) was started by the Scratch user, trekkie2000. Alone was a joint production between DIY Productions and TGE. It was trekkie’s idea to have a shooter featuring two main characters. Though his original storyline was supposed to have zombies, they only appear in the second installment in my version of the story, as can be seen in the teaser trailer for Quiet (sequel to Alone). It is part of a videogame trilogy that has undoubtedly been of great success.
trekkie handed over the company to me after there were all sorts of issues with management. The company had three managers-three big ‘guns’-thus getting its name. Co-operation seemed hard to get from all the members, and that is why I took matters into my own hands.
Today, Alone is my most successful videogame series after my Harry Potter videogames, even though only one game has been released. After Alone’s immense success, I have been motivated to focus on what TGE was initially created for-collaboration. It was a company intended to bring together different programmers, graphic artists, sound artists and others representing different industries and create stellar games that can be considered as worthy and professional as some of the best games found on Scratch.
Currently, we are focusing on another shooter. We need a good plot and I shall be nominating suitable volunteers certain posts on request. The available posts are as follows:
Chief Programmer: DIY (taken)
Programmer 1: (works with me, discussing suitable scripting)
Programmer 2: (checks for flaws in the programming and tries to salvage if any)
Script writer: (writes a suitable, action-packed script)
Environment artist: (designs the stage and background)
Sprite artist: (designs the characters, guns, etc.)
Sound effects: (gets crash sounds, gun shots, etc.)
Music composer: (creates an original score and theme music for the game)

Can I be the Environment artist.Anyway what will the project/projects be about?
Yeah, sure. What software do you use to render environments? I would prefer something like Blender. Just upload a project with a rendered environment to prove your skill and I'll sign you up. To answer your question, the project is a shooter, but the full story isn't complete until I get a scripter.

I hope it's good.I was thinking when I finished it that there should be a project where you have a limited amount of time.I don't the rest but it's your decision.

Thanks, but I was thinking more on the lines of a 3d render. Anyway, I'll keep you informed about whether or not you are accepted into Triple Gun Entertainment. Please spread the word about this collab since I need programmers, sprite artists etc.

Hi, can I join?
I would like to be the sprite artist or environment artist if possible.
I use Blender and some GIMP.
Although I have not uploaded many projects I am relatively good at Blender, slightly less so with GIMP.

That's sounds cool. Could you upload a project with any 3D Blender render of your choice?
